From this year, the academy will also showcase two solo performances of the dancers- Sandhya Dharma (Bharatanatyam) and Anuradha Singh (Kathak, Raigad Gharana), so that the students will experience different styles and through this, RSCA also aims to create platform for solo performers.

Under the academy, founded and managed by Rujuta Soman, students of all ages from different cities are trained in pure classical form of Kathak. The RSCA aims to extend the boundaries of Indian traditional dance and create a new benchmark in the aesthetics of presentation by using state-of-the-art technology and innovative dance techniques.

“Students from all our branches will perform together on this occasion. The concert of RSCA is designed to showcase the talent of students of the academy in different ways. Its main objective is to create an opportunity for upcoming students to perform and choreograph on their own. This is a form of ‘guru dakshina’ offered to the great Gurus through performing on this platform. ” said Rujuta Soman.
