Jaipur, July 13, 2020: In Rajasthan, a meeting of the legislature party is going on at the residence of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot amidst political turmoil. In this, 102 MLAs are being claimed by Congress. There are 98 Congress and 4 independents among them. At the same time, 18 MLAs, including Sachin Pilot, did not attend the meeting. The whip was released by the party late on Sunday night. According to this, strict action will be taken against a legislator if he is absent without any specific reason.

According to sources, MLAs who did not attend the meeting included Rakesh Pareek, Murari Lal Meena, GR Khatana, Indraj Gurjar, Gajendra Singh Shaktawat, Harish Meena, Deepender Singh Shekhawat, Bhanwar Lal Sharma, Indira Meena, Vijendra Ola, Hemaram Chaudhary, PR Meena, Ramesh Meena, Vishvendra Singh, Ramnivas Gavadia, Mukesh Bhakar and Suresh Modi.

On Sunday evening, Deputy CM Sachin Pilot had claimed that 30 Congress MLAs are in his support and the Gehlot government of the state is in a minority. With this, Pilot also clarified the estrangement from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, said that they will not attend the meeting of the legislature party. However, Rajasthan Congress incharge Avinash Pandey claimed that we have letters of support from 109 MLAs. The Gehlot government is in the majority.

Major updates related to the government: Randeep Surjewala appealed to everyone to attend the Congress Legislature Party meeting. He said that the doors of Congress are always open to all. If there is any kind of estrangement then you can talk to the party president and the high command. Sachin Pilot can present his case in front of party in-charge Avinash Pandey. They will be waiting at the meeting. When the BJP has to kill democracy, 3 departments Income Tax, ED, CBI come forward. No matter how great the BJP is, it will not be able to buy the Rajasthan government and the legislators.

According to sources, Sachin Pilot is likely to announce the new party today. One-third of Congress MLAs are claimed to be involved. In this way, a third front can be formed in the state. There is a possibility of creating a third front in the name of ‘Progressive Congress’.

Early today, the Income Tax Department raided the locations of two Congress leaders Dharmendra Rathore and Rajiv Arora, close to CM Gehlot, in Jaipur, Kota, Delhi and Mumbai. Avinash Pandey, Congress in-charge in Rajasthan said, “I tried to talk to Pilot, also messaged him, but he did not reply. They are not above the party.

PL Punia, Congress in-charge of Chhattisgarh told the news agency that Sachin Pilot is now in BJP. Everyone knows what the BJP’s stand is about Congress. All leaders and workers are respected in Congress. Punia later tweeted that I was questioned about Scindia and Pilot’s name slipped in place of Scindia. This happened by mistake.”

On the possibility of Pilot joining BJP, party President Satish Poonia in Rajasthan said that Sachin Pilot is welcome in BJP. The root of the entire fight is the quarrel amongst the Congress Party.

Pilot angry after SOG’s notice: Pilot is angry after getting the notice of SOG investigating the horse-trading case. He has the support of the Congress and some independents. Meanwhile, CM Gehlot held a meeting with the MLAs at 9 pm on Sunday. After this, a pro-Gehlot MLA claimed that we will bring more MLAs from BJP than the number of MLAs they take from us.

Amidst the controversy, three MLAs Congress MLAs Danish Abrar, Chetan Doody and Rohit Bohra had gone to Delhi. After their return to Jaipur, they said that they had gone to Delhi for personal reasons. If the media says that we went there because of this, or because of that then it is not our problem. We do not want to be part of any dispute. We are the soldiers of the Congress and will remain with the Congress till the last breath.

The Claim of 115 MLAs reaching for dinner at Chief Minister’s residence late night: Chief Minister Gehlot on Sunday night called all the ministers and MLAs of the government to eat at the government residence. Cabinet Minister Pratap Singh Khachariwas said the government had an absolute majority. About 115 MLAs attended the dinner.

What the equation says: Pilot claims that he has over 30 MLAs in contact. If this is true, Gehlot Sarkar will come in a minority. If 30 of the 107 Congress MLAs resign, the number of MLAs in the House will be 170. In such a situation, 86 MLAs will be needed for a majority. After 30 resignations, Congress will have 77 MLAs. An RLD MLA is already with him. The total number of Congress will be 78. That is 8 less than the majority. On the other hand, the BJP has 75 MLAs including 3 RLP MLAs. To form a government, the BJP will have to break independents. At present, there are 10 Congress supporters among the 13 MLAs of the state. If the BJP can make 8 MLAs in its favour, then the government can be formed.

The matter of giving 25 crores to the MLAs revealed in the SOG investigation: According to SOG, they had taken the mobile number 9929229909 and 8949065678 on surveillance in connection with smuggling of illegal weapons and explosive material.

The conversation of mobiles taken on surveillance has revealed that a conspiracy was hatched to topple the government before the Rajya Sabha elections. Information about giving Rs 25 crore to MLAs has also come to light.

The ACB has filed an FIR against three independent MLAs on Saturday for giving money to MLAs. These include Omprakash Hoodla from Mahuva, Suresh Tank from Ajmer Kishangarh and Independent MLA Khushveer Singh from Pali Marwar Junction.
