Salman Khan family exploiting me says film director Abhinav Singh Kashyap

Pune, June 17, 2020: After many shocking revelations by celebrities and directors about the malicious Bollywood industry, director Abhinav Singh Kashyap has come out with his own story.

He has written a long Facebook post about how the Khan family including Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Salman Khan have bullied him and ruined his career in the industry. He has appealed to the Government to launch a detailed investigation in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. He said that like Sushant, many of them have faced the brutal blows launched by the gatekeepers of power in the Bollywood industry. He has mainly accused the Khan’s of ending his career. He explained in his post, how the talent agencies and certain Celebrities in Bollywood exploit young and talented people like Sushant and make them feel excluded and pressurized.

He wrote, “The death of Sushant Singh Rajput brings under the scanner the role of YRF talent Management Agency might have played in pushing him towards his suicide but that is for the authorities to investigate. These people don’t make careers. They ruin your career and life. Having suffered personally for a decade, I can confidently say every Talent Manager and all Talent Management Agencies in Bollywood are a potential death trap for Artists.”

He further continued to explain how the Khan’s have repeatedly tried to sabotage his career. He wrote, “The reason I moved out of making Dabangg 2 ten years ago is because Arbaaz Khan sabotaged my second project with Shree Ashtavinayak Films that I was signed up with by personally calling their head Mr Raj Mehta and threatening him with dire consequences if they made a film with me.”

He said that the Khan’s are influential in Bollywood and just because they have ties with the underworld and are rich, they intimidate anyone and everyone in the industry. He said that he had even filed a police complaint in 2017 and he also received threats. He wrote, “I have been repeatedly threatened with life and rape threats given to/for the female members of my family. The sustained gaslighting and bullying destroyed my mental health and that of my family.”

In conclusion, he said that the meaning behind him doing all this is not to threaten anyone but it is an open challenge against the corrupt and unjust media industry.
