Salman Khan Meets Mumbai Police Commissioner, Applies For Arms License

Mumbai, 22nd July 2022: Bollywood actor Salman Khan today met Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivel Phansalkar regarding an arms license in the backdrop of a threat to his life.

 

According to a report in India Today, Salman Khan has met the Mumbai Police Commissioner to apply for an arms license. Although Salman himself did not say anything about this. A video of Salman Khan coming out of the police commissioner’s office has gone viral. He is seen in a red t-shirt in the video.

 

Salman Khan did not click a photo with anyone nor did he answer any

question of the paparazzi. The media present on the spot tried to know

from Salman about his meeting with the police commissioner. But Salman did not respond and sat in the car.

 

Threatening letter to Salman7

It may be recalled that three members of Lawrence Bishnoi gang had sent a threatening letter to actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan and it was part of gangster Vikram Brar’s conspiracy to extort money by intimidating the father-son duo, police officers claimed this. They said that an alleged member of the gang, Mahakal alias Siddhesh Kamble, was arrested by the Pune Police and he gave the said information during interrogation.

 

According to an India Today report, the Mumbai Police, which is probing the case, said that the threat letter was a publicity stunt by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang.

 

According to officials, the threat was made at the behest of Vikram Barar, an aide of Bishnoi, who is currently based in Canada.
