Sangeeta Lalwani to head the Pune chapter of FLO
Pune, May 10, 2018: Sangeeta Lalwani will now head the Pune Chapter of FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) which is the women wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). She took over the charge of Chairperson from Varsha Chordia recently.
Before becoming the Chairperson of FLO, Pune Chapter Lalwani has served as the Senior Vice President and the Treasurer of the chapter. Since inception she is heading the organizing committee of FLO Half Marathon. She is actively involved in her family business of jewellery and real estate. Her tenure as a chairperson would be of one year during which her agenda will be to undertake initiatives that will contribute towards women empowerment with financial independence to women across different sections of the society.
FICCI FLO is an all India forum for women which comprises of over 5000 women entrepreneurs and professionals. This initiative was started in 1983 with an objective to encourage and facilitate women to showcase their skills for economic empowerment and to provide equal opportunity for women.
