Sanjay Agarwal and Deepak Bansal from Pune Elected to National Executive of Akhil Bhartiya Agarwal Sangthan After Four Decades

Chandigarh/Pune, 15 October 2025: Two prominent businessmen from Pune, Sanjay Agarwal and Deepak Ramniwas Bansal, have been elected to the National Executive of the Akhil Bhartiya Agarwal Sangthan, marking the first time in forty years that representatives from Pune have been included in the organization’s top leadership.

The announcement was made during the national conference of the Akhil Bhartiya Agarwal Sangthan held in Chandigarh, attended by hundreds of community representatives, industrialists, social workers, and youth members from across the country.

Sanjay Krishnamurari Agarwal was unanimously appointed as the National Secretary of the organization in recognition of his long-standing community service, leadership, and organizational experience. The decision was made in the presence of the organization’s chairman Pradeep Mittal, newly elected president Kulbhushan Mittal, and national secretary Rajesh Bharuka.

Pradeep Mittal said Agarwal has played a significant role in organizing the Agarwal community across various states, connecting business networks, and promoting youth leadership.

Deepak Ramniwas Bansal, also from Pune, was elected as a member of the National Executive. Bansal is known for his active involvement in education, business cooperation, and social initiatives within the community. He founded the Agarwal Business Connect (ABC) platform in Pune, which has generated business worth Rs 1,000 crore over the past eight years.

The selection of both Agarwal and Bansal has been welcomed by the Agarwal community in Maharashtra, particularly in Pune.

During the conference, community representatives discussed several initiatives, including the Business Cooperation Forum, Education Assistance Scheme, and entrepreneurship guidance programs for youth.

National president Kulbhushan Mittal said the organization’s strength lies in the unity, service, and cooperation of the community, and expressed confidence that the new leadership will further strengthen and expand the organization’s work nationwide.
