Savitribai Phule Pune University Opens Applications For Registrar Position, Deadline Set For February 23
Pune, 5th February 2024: Amidst the ongoing recruitment drive for professors at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), a new phase has commenced with the initiation of the application process for the position of Registrar. The University has set a deadline for application submissions, closing on February 23.
Following the completion of Dr. Prafulla Pawar’s tenure, Dr. Vijay Khare has assumed additional responsibilities as the acting Registrar. However, with a proposal to conduct a selection process for the permanent appointment, the university has forwarded the proposal to the state government. Subsequent to receiving approval from the Maharashtra state government, the application process for the Registrar position has officially commenced. The Registrar plays a pivotal role as a constitutional post in the administration of the university, overseeing key administrative affairs.
As per the university’s communication, the application process for the Registrar position is now open. Eligible candidates should possess a Master’s degree in any subject along with a Ph.D. Candidates are required to meet specific conditions, including being above 45 years old and having a minimum of 15 years of teaching experience.
After getting the applications, the university will conduct interviews to scrutinize and select suitable candidate for the esteemed position of Registrar.
