Savitribai Phule Pune University Reveals PET Results; 6,346 Students Disqualified
Pune, 13th September 2024: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has announced the results of the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) conducted for admission to various departments and research centres affiliated with the university. Out of the 10,752 students who applied, 2,761 have qualified, while 6,346 have been disqualified. The exam was held online at various centres across Pune, Ahmednagar, and Nashik.
1,645 students were absent from the examination. SPPU will soon announce the admission process. The entrance exam was conducted for approximately 1,200 seats in SPPU departments and affiliated research centres, not including vacancies in autonomous colleges. Therefore, the number of available seats for Ph.D. admissions is expected to increase. SPPU has released a circular advising students to log in and download their results.
