Mumbai/Pune, 12th February 2024: On February 13, commuters using the Mumbai-Pune Expressway should be aware of scheduled maintenance activities. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will be installing a gantry at chain number 15.750 on the Mumbai channel as part of the Highway Traffic Management System.

The installation is set to occur between 12 pm and 2 pm on Tuesday, February 13. A traffic block will be enforced, necessitating the complete closure of all traffic on the Mumbai channel of the expressway. Motorists are advised to consider alternative routes to avoid delays.

For light vehicles travelling from Pune to Mumbai on the Pune-Mumbai channel, the diversion route will commence from lane km 55,000 on the Mumbai channel. They will transition to the old Pune-Mumbai route on National Highway No. 48. Similarly, light vehicles and buses travelling on the Pune-Mumbai channel can divert from the Khopoli exit at km 39.800. They will then proceed on the old Pune-Mumbai highway via Khopoli City and Shedung Toll Plaza to rejoin the Mumbai channel.
