Seven Yemeni Nationals, Including Two Women, to Be Deported From Pune

Kondhwa, 28th January 2025: Seven Yemeni nationals, including two women, residing illegally in Kondhwa, are set to be deported. The action was taken by the Pune City Police Commissionerate’s Foreigners Registration Office (FRO).

The city hosts a significant number of foreign nationals for education, business, and medical purposes. However, some overstay their visa validity and reside illegally. Pune City Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar recently directed action against such individuals. Following these instructions, the FRO initiated inspections of foreign nationals in the city.

During an inspection at a housing society on NIBM Road in Kondhwa, the authorities discovered that seven Yemeni nationals had overstayed their visas. Hence, the police issued them a “Leave India Notice,” and arrangements are underway for their deportation, according to FRO officials.
