Severe Weather Alert: Thunderstorm and Rainfall Forecasted in Pune, Precautions Advised
Pune, 5th July 2023: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Nowcast warning at 10 pm on 5th July 2023. Thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning and moderate spells of rain, are expected to occur at isolated places in several districts.
The districts affected include Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Dhule, Satara, Ahmednagar, Latur, Pune, Osmanabad, Solapur, and Beed. The weather conditions are expected to persist for the next 3-4 hours.
Residents are advised to take necessary precautions while venturing outdoors. The IMD has urged the public to stay informed about the latest weather updates and follow safety guidelines to ensure their well-being during this period of inclement weather.
