Warje, 5th July 2023: A heartwarming incident took place in Yasodeep Chowk, Warje Malwadi, as local authorities rescued a three-year-old girl who had been wandering alone for an extended period. The diligent efforts of the police led to reuniting the young child with her parents.

 

The incident came to light when Gauri Pawar, the headmistress of a nearby school, noticed the unaccompanied toddler strolling in Yashodeep Chowk. Alarmed by the situation, she immediately alerted the Warje police station.

 

Upon receiving the information, police officers Ankita Mohol, Aboli Kendre, and Sanjay Nigde swiftly responded, locating and detaining the young girl. Their immediate priority was to reunite her with her parents. The police commenced a thorough search within the vicinity of Malwadi, focusing on tailor shops, as the girl had mentioned that her father worked as a tailor.

 

Also, a school bus driver informed the authorities that the girl was a student at the Smita Patil School in Warje Malwadi. Concerned staff members from the school were actively searching for her as well, and they promptly relayed this vital information to the police.

 

With the combined efforts of the diligent police officers, the girl’s parents were successfully located in the Malwadi area. Overjoyed with relief, the police handed the little girl back into the loving embrace of her grateful parents.
