Sharad Pawar Holds Closed-Door Talks with Parth, Jay Pawar in Baramati
Baramati, 5th February 2026: Senior Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader Sharad Pawar today attended a high-level meeting at the Vidya Pratishthan educational institution in Baramati, a development that has drawn political attention amid ongoing speculation about possible realignments within factions of the NCP.
The meeting brought together several prominent trustees and office-bearers of the institution, including Vitthal Maniyar, Kiran Gujar, Dr. R.M. Shah, Vice-President Adv. Ashok Prabhune, Secretary Neelima Gujar, Registrar Shreesh Kambhoj, and CA Pritam Pahade. Also present were Parth Pawar and Jay Pawar, adding to the significance of the gathering.
According to sources, Pawar later held a separate closed-door discussion with Parth Pawar and Jay Pawar that lasted nearly an hour. No official statement was issued regarding the nature or outcome of the conversation.
After the meeting, Jay Pawar visited the site associated with the last rites of the late Ajit Pawar, where he paid respects and briefly interacted with staff members.
Although the programme was officially linked to institutional matters, its timing has intensified political chatter, particularly against the backdrop of reports suggesting potential shifts within the NCP’s internal dynamics. Party leaders have refrained from commenting, leaving the purpose of the discussions open to interpretation.
