Sharad Pawar Lost Two Opportunities To Become PM, He Should Retire Now, Says Pawar’s Friend And Businessman Cyrus Poonawala
Pune 31st August 2023: Nationalist Congress Party(NCP) leader Sharad Pawar’s close friend and industrialist Cyrus Poonawalla on Wednesday advised Pawar to retire. Speaking to media personnel at an event in Pune he said ‘Sharad Pawar lost two opportunities to become a Prime Minister. He could have served the nation well as he is a smart man. Unlike me, he has also become old and he should now retire.”
This came at a time when Pawar’s nephew Ajit Pawar seperated with several MLAs to join BJP in the state government. Ajit Pawar after joining BJP has said that Sharad Pawar should retire and let others lead the party and take decisions for the future of the party.
However, the senior Pawar while responding to this had said that he will himself take a call when to retire and he does not need an advise from anyone on that matter.
