Shiv Sena MP Chandrakant Khaire, Congress MLA Subhash Zambad beaten up
Aurangabad – The last rites of twenty-eight year old Kakasaheb Dattatray Shinde was performed at Kaigaon in Aurangabad district on Tuesday morning. He had jumped into Godavari river during Maratha reservation agitation on Monday.
Shiv Sena MP Chandrakant Khaire and Congress MLA Subhash ZamBad, who had come for cremation, were manhandled by people. They had to flee from there.
On Monday, the mob had decided that no politician will be allowed to be present at the place of funeral. About 175 police personnel were deployed there.
