Shivjayanti Celebrated In London; Slogans Like ‘Jai Shivrai’ Chanted By Youths

Pune, 19th February 2023: The birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is celebrated with great enthusiasm. Sangram Shewale, who went to London for education, along with his friends and family, celebrated Shiv Jayanti with great enthusiasm along with Indian students and students from other countries at London City Parliament Square. At this time, the students left the area shouting slogans like ‘Jai Shivarai’.

The works of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj are known all over the world. Shivaji Maharaj became an ideal king due to his martial arts and comprehensive administrative skills. Cultivating their Indian culture in the city of London, students from many states of India gathered under the guidance of Adv Sangram Shewale to pay homage to the image of Shivaji Maharaj.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj built a powerful and progressive state on the strength of a disciplined army and a well-organized administrative system.

“Scholars from many countries come to India to study all these things and this is the tradition of Maharashtra and we paid tribute to Shivaji Maharaj at Parliament Square in London,” informed Shewale.
