SHOCKING: Pune District Reported 4837 New COVID Cases Today, Across Maharashtra 20,489 Patients
Mumbai, Sep 05, 2020: A total of 10,801 patients were discharged and 20,489 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 4837 new cases were reported in Pune District today. Today, 312 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.97%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 8,83,862 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 6,36,574 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.97%. As of today, there are 2,20,661 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 72.01% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.97%. Currently, 14,81,909 people are in home quarantine and 37,196 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 45,56,707 laboratory samples, 8,83,862 have been tested positive (19.3%) for COVID-19 until today.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,023,179 across the country. Out of this, 3,107,223 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 69,561 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 846,395 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
