Pune, 6th June 2021 JP Trivedi Trust and Rotary District 3131 jointly started the Shwaas Covid Care and Quarantine Center at Ghole Road. It was inaugurated recently by Rashmi Kulkarni, Rotary Club Pune District Governor.

“At present, the covid treatment centre has 70 beds capacity. It has 20 oxygen beds and 10 beds are available in the isolation room and the treatment would be provided in this centre at less than the rate fixed by the government,” informed Rashmi Kulkarni.

The centre has been set up with the help of 24 Rotary clubs in Pune with the financial support of the district level Rotary Club with the consent of the PMC. “The opening of the covid centre was delayed due to shortage of oxygen cylinders. The possibility of a third wave of covid has been in the talks. Hence, the centre is now ready for the treatment and it is open to all,” Rashmi Kulkarni said.
President of all Rotary Clubs, as well as convener of Covid Treatment Center project Sudin Apte and co-convenor Parag mulye, were present on the occasion.
