Singh, Chhajed in semifinals at Pune District Tennis Championships
Pune, May 10, 2023: Unseeded Vaishnavi Singh and Aashi Chhajed registered upset win to move into the Semifinal round of the Pune District Mens and Womens District Championships organised by Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association (PMDTA) and Deccan Gymkhana at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts.
In the Women’s quarter finals Vaishnavi Singh upset second seeded Bhavika Gundecha 7-4 , while Aashi Chhajed toppled third seeded Simran Chetri 7-3 , Top seeded Tanvi Tawade and fourth seeded Rama Shahapurkar also made it to the semifinals.
In the Men’s Singles all the top four seeds including top seeded Pranav Gadgil , second seeded Nishith Rahane , third seeded Parth Chivate and fourth seeded Venkatesh Acharya made it to the semifinal stage
