Snapchat Video of Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary Surfaces Amid Ketan Agarwal Murder Probe
Pune, 2nd July 2026: A purported Snapchat video allegedly showing murder accused Siya Goyal and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary together has surfaced online, adding a new dimension to the investigation into the alleged murder of Ketan Agarwal.
Ketan Agarwal (25) allegedly died after being pushed into a gorge at Lohagad Fort on June 18. Police have arrested his fiancée, Siya Goyal (20), and her alleged boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary (22), in connection with the case, which has attracted nationwide attention.
According to reports, the video was allegedly posted on Snapchat on May 23, nearly three weeks before Ketan’s death. It purportedly shows Siya and Chetan holding hands and embracing, prompting speculation that the two were still in a relationship even after Siya became engaged to Ketan in February.
However, the authenticity of the video has not been independently verified, and the circumstances in which it was recorded remain unclear. It is also not known why the two allegedly met on that occasion.
The development comes days after Siya’s parents, during an interview with a television news channel, said they were unaware of any romantic relationship between their daughter and Chetan. They maintained that they believed the two were only friends and said Siya had never expressed any hesitation about marrying Ketan after their engagement.
Siya’s mother said she had never suspected that her daughter was romantically involved with Chetan. She added that she believed Siya would have informed the family if she had wished to marry someone else.
Her parents also said that although they are finding it difficult to believe the allegations against their daughter, they will abide by the court’s decision. They stated that if Siya is found guilty following due legal process, she should face the punishment awarded by the court.
Meanwhile, investigators are continuing to probe the case from multiple angles, including the alleged motive behind Ketan’s death and the relationship between the two accused.
