Software engineer shoots doctor wife in Wakad
Pune : A 40 year techie has been arrested by Pune police for allegedly shooting his wife at her clinic in Wakad after suspecting her character on Wednesday night.
The incident took place around 8 pm at Mother Care clinic.
The deceased has been identified as Dr Anjali Patidar. Wakad police has arrested Manoj Patidar. He works at a leading IT firm in Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjawadi.
Police said that the couple had quarreled on Wednesday night and Patidar shot her from point blank range in the forehead.
After getting information, police arrested him after hot chase in Katraj.
Meanwhile, Anjali’s brother has lodged a murder case against Patidar with Wakad police station.
