Solapur Fest inaugurated in Pune
Pune, 16th November,2018: ‘Solapur Fest’ organized by Solapur Social Foundation a spectacular opening ceremony was held at Pandit Farms today morning.
Textile Minister of Maharashtra Subhash Deshmukh, Mayor of Solapur Mrs.Shobha Banshetty,GuruMaharaj Avsekar and Sanjay Shinde-President of Solapur District Council inaugurated the fest by Lamp lighting and Ribbon Cutting.
Soalpur Social Foundation, a non-profit organization working for the development and progress of Solapur, is organizing this big fest. It is their sincere effort to make the world know about Solapur and its culture, and to provide an exposure for the businesses in Solapur.
Solapur Fest is a shopping and food festival and exhibition. There are around hundreds of food and shopping stalls. All stalls are full of products from Solapur. Kids are given with a special Kids Zone to enjoy at this fest. Also there are various cultural programmes for the visitors such as stand up comedy by Haasya-samrat Deepak Deshpande, dance and songs program, Agnihotra and so many other programmes. The organizer, Solapur Social Foundation, is saying that this is going to be a feast for Punekars by Solapurkars.
This is a three-day fest starting from 16th November to 18th November at Pandit Farms. You can visit this event from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Entries are free for this festival.
