Soldier Posted at NDA Found Dead on Railway Track in Pune

Pune, 2nd September 2026: Hav Jagtar Singh, a service personnel posted at the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Khadakwasla, was found dead on a railway track between Khadki and Shivajinagar on Tuesday evening.

According to information released by the authorities, Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel found Singh’s body on the railway track at around 5:30 pm on September 1.

Singh hailed from Mansa district in Punjab. His body was shifted to the Government Hospital in Aundh for post-mortem examination. The Next of Kin (NoK) of the deceased has been informed about the incident.

A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death.
