Mumbai, 6th November 2021: Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ has hit the theatres. Fans were waiting for this film for a long time and their enthusiasm about the film took them to the theatre. Seeing the response of the audience, it would not be wrong to say that Akshay and the film’s director Rohit Shetty have got their gift of Diwali through this.
Sooryavanshi has created a new record of earning abroad. The film was released on 1300 screens in 66 countries and released on more than 4000 screens in the country. People have started saying that ‘Sooryavanshi’ has once again brought back the limelight in the theatres.
Earned so many crores on the first day
According to the figures of Box Office India, the film has collected 26 crores on the first day itself. The film gained momentum after a slow start in many places. The reason for the slow start is being told that the film was started late in the morning at many places.
Sooryavanshi special for Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar shared a slit from the film before the release of ‘Sooryavanshi’ and said that this action film is very special. He said, ”I have done many action films in my film career including stunts like helicopters, jumping from buildings, catching bikes, etc. Sooryavanshi is very special to me in many respects. It’s kind of old school to me but in a big way, releasing in cinemas tomorrow.”
Apart from Akshay Kumar, the film, directed by Rohit Shetty, stars Katrina Kaif, Gulshan Grover, Sikander Kher, Abhimanyu Singh, and Javed Jaffrey. Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgan are in cameo roles in the film. ‘Sooryavanshi’ is jointly produced by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Pictures, Dharma Productions, and Cape of Good Films.
