SSC, HSC Supplementary Exams in Maharashtra to Begin on June 16
Pune, 13th May 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the timetable for the Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) supplementary examinations for June-July 2026. The examinations will commence across the state from June 16.
According to the board, the detailed date-wise examination schedule has been made available on the official website of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
The board has clarified that the printed timetable provided to secondary schools, higher secondary schools and junior colleges before the examinations will be treated as final. Students have been advised not to rely on schedules circulated through unofficial websites, social media platforms or other sources. The board stated that it will not be held responsible for any loss caused to students due to reliance on unauthorised or viral timetables.
The HSC supplementary written examinations will be conducted between June 16 and July 8, while the SSC supplementary written examinations will take place from June 16 to June 30. Practical and oral examinations for SSC students will also be conducted during the same period.
State Board Chairman Dr Trigun Kulkarni said efforts are being made to declare the supplementary examination results by July 15.
The supplementary examinations provide students with another opportunity to clear subjects in which they were unsuccessful in the regular board examinations and continue their academic admission process without losing an academic year.
