SSC Issues Notice For GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2022; Check Exam Pattern Here

Pune, 24 November 2022: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the notice regarding the GD Constable recruitment exam 2022. The Computer-Based Test of GD Constable will be held from 10 January 2023 to 14 February 2023.

 

SSC has released the schedule of three more recruitment examinations for different stages.

 

The skill test of CGL 2021 will be held on 4 January and 5 January 2023, the skill test of CHSL 2021 will be held on 6 January, and the skill test of steno grade CDD 2022 will be held on 15 February and 16 February 2023.

 

This time, the vacancy has been removed for a total of 24,396 posts constable. Of these, there are 21,579 posts of male constables and 2,626 posts of female constables.

 

There are 10,497 vacancies in BSF, 100 in CISF, 8,911 in CRPF, 1,284 in SSB, 1,613 in ITBP, 1,697 in AR, and 103 in SSF. However, there is no vacancy in CRPF and NIA.

 

This time the written test of GD constable recruitment will be different. Earlier, there used to be one and a half hour paper, now the paper will be of one hour. Now instead of 100, only 80 questions will be asked in the paper. Negative marking will be the same as before but earlier when one-fourth mark was deducted for a wrong answer, now half a mark will be deducted.

 

• Selection – First there will be a written test (computer-based).

• Successful candidates will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PST).

• PET will be conducted by CAPF.

 

 

In the written test, questions related to General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Knowledge, General Awareness, Elementary Maths, and English/Hindi will be asked.
