ST Corporation Increases Bus Fares Between Dadae-Swargate By 10 Percent Till 31st October
Mumbai, 20th October 2022: The State Transport Authority has empowered ST to increase seasonal fares by up to 30 percent to increase revenue during peak season as per ST Corporation’s variable fare hike formula. ST Corporation has decided to use this right to increase the fare by 10 percent from 21st October. This fare will be applicable till 31st October. The fare hike is applicable for Sadi (Parivartan), Nim Aram (Hirakani), Shivshahi (Asan), and Sleeper buses. However, this fare does not apply to the Shivneri and Ashwamedh buses, informed the officials of ST Corporation.
Due to this fare increase, the fare of the ordinary bus running between Dadar-Swargate will be Rs 260 from Rs 235, while the fare of Shivshahi will be Rs 385 from Rs 350. During this period, a simple bus fare between Mumbai and Aurangabad will cost Rs 950 instead of Rs 860. Also, the fare of Shivshahi has been increased by Rs 130 and has reached Rs 1,410 from Rs 1,280.
The carrier will recover the difference in ticket price during the journey from the passenger who has made the reservation in advance. Corporation officials clarified that this fare hike will not be applicable for ST travel anywhere, as well as monthly and quarterly, and student passes.
