St. Vincent’s H.S record huge wins
Pune, 14 July 2023: St. Vincent’s H.S showed their might and were involved in huge wins against Kalmadi High School in the Under-12 and 14 sections respectively in the Loyola Football Cup powered by Tata Autocomp at the Loyola H.S ground, Pashan here on Friday.
The tournament, organised by the Ex Loyola Students Network (ELAN) and Loyola High School, Pune, also saw St.Vincent’s H.S Under 16 complete a clean sweep against Kalmadi High School 5-1.
In the Under-12 section, St. Vincent’s H.S had Ansh Lodha star with a six-goal effort (6th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 26th, 34th) and dump Kalmadi H.S 13-0. The other scorers included, a brace each by Ayush Rachabuttni (2nd, 4th, 11th) and Vihaan Shinde (19th, 39th), while Azlan Landge (24th) and Joel Cherian (28th) netted a goal each.
Later, the Under-14 St Vincent’s HS side repeated a 13-0 effort against Kalmadi H.S with Naitik Gupta netting four goals in the 12th, 18th, 19th, 22th, 41st, 49th minutes. Param Bhargava (7th, 35th, 37th) chipped in three, while Ethan: Lobo (15th), Shlok Mithapelli (25th), Jonah Ambat (45th) and Ishan Thokale (48th) showed collective efforts with a goal each.
The Under-16: St. Vincent’s H.S completed a triple handing Kalmadi H.S their third defeat of the day logging a 5-1 win. A brace by Viraj Chakranarayan (13th, 21st) and a strike each by Aryan Nair (25th), Neel Sengupta (49th) , Aryan Suryavanshi (60th) rounded off the tally. Kalmadi High School pulled one back through Tanish Aychitte (27th).
In another set of matches The Kalyani School put aside CM International 6-1 in the Under-14 section and Under-16 sections, while the Under-12 section saw both The Kalyani School and CM International play out a goalless draw.
