Students’ Day Celebrated At Savitribai Phule Pune University
Pune, 8th November 2022: Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s School Admission Day is celebrated as Students’ Day. On behalf of the University Student Organization and Pune University Staff Union, Pune Vidyapeeth Karmachari Sangh and other like-minded organizations, Students’ Day was celebrated on 7th November 2022 at Jaykar Library, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
On this occasion, Chief Guest Prof. Dr Vilas Adhav, Head, Department of Economics, Director, Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension, Senate Member, Savitribai Phule Pune University was present. The President of Savitribai Phule Pune University Karmachari Sangh Dr Sunil Dhiwar, General Secretary Santosh Madane and other staff and students were present.
While guiding the students, Prof. Adhav said that the solution to all problems in today’s situation is the thought of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. Students should deepen their personalities by reading Ambedkar’s ideological literature. He also mentioned that Dr Ambedkar is one of the best students in the world.
Sunil Dhiwar opined that Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar is a role model for all students.
Tukaram Shinde, a member of the action committee, coordinated the program. BARTY’s counterpart Usha Kamble gave a vote of thanks.
