Pune, 6th November 2022: As part of the efforts to reduce the burden of notebooks on the back of the students, it will be decided to provide books along with notebooks for free through the government from next year. With each page in the book, students will be given a blank page for practice. School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar said on Saturday that students will not need to carry extra notebooks for practice.

Kesarkar was speaking at the 22nd anniversary and ‘Navaras 2022’ annual reunion program of Aditya English Medium School run by Shri Bhairavanath Shikshan Sanstha. Kesarkar said that although English medium school is attractive to parents, the role behind it is that their child should learn well.

“We should make friends with new technologies like robotic technology and artificial intelligence. Indian children have great quality. The state education department, officials and teachers are working hard to provide quality education to the children in villages and slums,” he said.

Kesarkar also explained that since India is a country with the most youth, efforts are being made to create skilled manpower in the next 10 years.
