Sufficient petrol, diesel stock in Pune : AIPDA
Pune, August 9, 2019 : The All India Petrol Dealers Association (AIPDA) on Friday clarified that enough stock of petrol, diesel in Pune and people should not believe any rumour.
AIPDA spokesperson Ali Daruwala said, “A fake message is being circulated in lots of group. Let me clarify that this is wrong Rumors spread by some mischievous people.
Everybody is cautioned not to believe such statements.
There is ample petrol and diesel available in Pune.”
Earlier Pune city Police commissioner had appealed against rumour mongering.
“There are Heavy rains in Pune and many other districts across the state for the past few days. Rivers, drains and dams are filled to full capacity. But during this period, some messages spreading the rumours like the dam was broken, the road was damaged and the bridge collapsed etc are being circulated. All are advised not to believe such rumors and rely on official information. Legal action will be taken against those who are spreading false information”, Dr. K. Venkatesham, Commissioner of Police, Pune City, had said.
