Pune, 13th March 13, 2021: Supreme Court has directed Deepak Kulkarni alias DSK to appeal in the High Court instead of directly approaching the SC. DSK had made an appeal to conduct the hearing of all the cases against him at one court.
SC judges Rohinton Fali Narman and BR Gawai said that the hearing of the cases against DSK can be held at the special court in Pune or Mumbai. DSK had appealed to release him on bail. DSK advocates Pratik Rajopadhya and Ashish Patankar said that they withdrew the application and will soon file the case in the Bombay High Court.
There are as many as 450 cases against DSK, his family members, and various shareholders of the company for cheating and under several other charges. Thus, to be present at the various police stations during the hearings is not possible. Hence DSK had appealed to conduct the hearing of all the cases in one court.
Meanwhile, Adv. Rajopadhya and Adv. Patankar said  “SC has made it clear that our petition can be heard in High Court. Accordingly, we will submit our petition to the lower court. If it is rejected there then again we can appeal in the SC.”
