New Delhi, 18th February 2023: The National Eligibility cum Entrance-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 is scheduled to take place on March 5. On February 14, 2023, the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) petitioned the Supreme Court to postpone the examination.

According to reports, Rohan Krishnan, the national head of FAIMA, predicted that the Supreme Court will likely hear the appeal on Monday or Tuesday.

The Telangana High Court reportedly directed the National Medical Commission (NMC) to consider postponing the exam and to render a decision within the following two weeks.

Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, stated earlier this month in the Lok Sabha session that the central government would not be delaying the NEET PG Test.

He stated that NBE will administer the NEET PG Exam in compliance with the schedule that has been made public. The minister went on to say that the schedule was set in place to restart the academic year after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nevertheless, after a sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, by applicants, medical organizations, and countless NEET PG candidates, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) decided to extend the internship deadline.
