Pune: Workers from Food Delivery Company Assaults Manager of Women’s Hostel

Wadgaon Sheri, 18th February 2023: A worker from a food delivery company and his companions allegedly assaulted the manager of a private women’s hostel after being prevented from entering the premises. The victim, Ganesh Balasaheb Sable, has filed a complaint against six individuals, including Rehan Balu, at the Yerwada Police Station.

Sable, who manages the hostel for women, prevented Rohan, the accused, from entering the premises with food. An argument ensued, and Sable hit Rohan under the ear before Rohan and his companions left. However, they returned later and brutally beat Sable with a stick, causing severe head injuries.

Assistant Police Inspector Ravindra Alekar is leading the investigation into the matter.
