Symbiosis Law School Pune students to represent India at ‘Louis M Brown & Forrest S Mosten International Client Consultation Competition 2020’

Pune, February 12, 2020 : For the first time in the history of Symbiosis Law School Pune, it has won National rounds of the ‘Louis M Brown and Forrest S Mosten International Client Consultation Competition 2020. This is an International competition for law students.
Louis M Brown and Forrest S Mosten International Client Consultation Competition were held at Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from January 31 to February 2.

The National rounds winners are second-year students of Symbiosis Law School Pune named Nirnay Shanbough and Shivansh Ahuja. The Brown-Mosten competition is an annual competition. Also, they were honored with Rs 42, 000.

There was a total of 34 teams comprising of two members from all over India who participated in the competition including some other well-known colleges like National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) and National Law University Delhi (NLU).

The subject areas of the competition were Law of Torts, Law of Contracts, Consumer Protection Law and other allied laws.

After the Final round, Symbiosis Law School, Pune was declared the winner of the competition and got qualified to represent India in the ‘Louis M Brown & Forrest S Mosten International Client Consultation Competition 2020’ which will be held at Stetson University College of Law, Tampa, Florida.
