Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, Pune launches Online Degree Programs through Mobile App “SYMBIONLINE”

Pune, 16th March 2022: This is a landmark event as for the 1st time in Education Online Degree Programs are being launched by a University that too through Mobile App – this is a revolution in education!

Dr Swati Mujumdar Pro Chancellor of Symbiosis Skills and Professional University informed that, with our vision to “Reach the Unreached” is launching online degree programs at extremely low and affordable fees. These online degree programs will be delivered through a Mobile App “SYMBIONLINE”.

Many students are unable to pursue their dreams of becoming graduates due to their economic conditions. Students in rural areas do not have access to good teachers. Furthermore, students coming from rural and poor families do not have computers or laptops. However, mobiles are now available with all. Hence Symbiosis Skills and Professional University decided to launch Online Degree Programs through a mobile APP. This App is available in the Play store with the name SYMBIONLINE. Lectures from Symbiosis teachers will be available on the APP. Also teacher’s notes, tests and reading material will be available on the APP. Additionally live lectures and all these learning resources will also be available on the web site. Symbiosis has a long legacy of distance education and have created a high-end technology platform for giving education online and on mobile App.

These online degree programs have affordable per year fees which can be paid in multiple installments.

The degrees will be given by Symbiosis Skills and Professional University which was established under Govt. of Maharashtra in 2017.

Some of the students from these batches also spoke on the occasion about their experiences of how they have become successful entrepreneurs after completing these skills based courses.

The Mobile APP SYMBIONLINE is being launched at the hands of noted actor  Nana Patekar on 17th March, 2022 at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University campus adjoining Pune Mumbai Expressway. Nana Patekar who is well known for his social work was appreciative of these initiatives.
