According to media reports, the Harrier EV test unit, offered by Tata as a mid-size SUV, has been seen during testing (Tata Harrier EV Spy Shots). After which it is being speculated that the company may launch the EV version of this SUV soon.

What’s the Latest Update?

As per media reports, the Harrier EV test unit was seen without any camouflage, revealing insights into its design and features. The design of the EV is expected to retain the design of the ICE version. Along with this, changes will be made in the front grill, bumper, alloy wheels. Being an EV, it will also be given electric badging.

What could be the range?

The company has not yet officially disclosed much information about Harrier EV’s range, but it is expected that it will have a range of around 500 km on a single charge. Along with this, the SUV might also come with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option. The car is expected to be available in white and silver colour variants and may feature multiple driving modes in it.

What will be the features?

All the features of its ICE version is likely to be offered in the Tata Harrier EV. Along with this, a standout feature named Summon ME may be offered, which would allow the vehicle to be controlled with minimal driver input.

Expected Launch Date

Although Tata Motors hasn’t officially confirmed the launch date, it is speculated that it can be launched around the festive season (Tata Electric SUV Launch). The company has already showcased its prototype version at the Auto Expo.

Expected Price

Tata Harrier EV will enter the mid-size electric SUV segment, with an estimated ex-showroom price of around ₹25 lakh.
