Tata Motors Announces Substantial Discounts on Harrier, Safari SUVs

11 December 2023: Tata Motors has introduced a substantial discount of Rs 1.40 lakh on its previous-generation Harrier and Safari models. Despite the recent launch of the new Tata Safari Facelift and Tata Harrier Facelift, equipped with impressive features, the company aims to clear its old-generation stock by offering attractive discounts on these SUVs. The discount remains consistent for both the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari models. The older Tata Harrier is priced between Rs 18.33 lakh and Rs 27.80 lakh ex-showroom, while the Tata Safari ranges from Rs 29.1 lakh to Rs 28.89 lakh ex-showroom in the Indian market. Both vehicles share a 2.0-liter diesel engine generating 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque, paired with six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Notably, the new generation Harrier and Safari boast slightly higher mileage compared to their predecessors.
Looking ahead, Tata Motors has confirmed the introduction of the new generation Tata Harrier and Safari facelift with petrol engines in the upcoming year. The previous-generation models come with a host of features, including a digital instrument cluster with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless Android Auto, wireless mobile charging, front ventilated seats, height-adjustable driver seat, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, and premium leather seats. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS technology, six airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, hill hold, hill descent control, reverse parking sensor, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
In addition to the discounts on the Harrier and Safari, Tata Motors is presently offering a Rs 45,000 discount on the Tata Altroz. This offer includes a cash discount of ₹20,000, exchange bonus of ₹10,000, and a corporate discount of ₹10,000, valid until the end of November.
Looking forward, Tata Motors has exciting plans for the Indian market, with the upcoming launch of the new generation Tata Curve Electric and Tata Punch Electric. Test images of these electric vehicles have surfaced on Indian roads, and both models are expected to offer impressive range capabilities, contributing to Tata Motors’ expanding electric vehicle portfolio.
