Techfest IIT Bombay to Host India’s First International Humanoid Summit in December

Mumbai, 29th November 2025: Techfest, IIT Bombay is set to make history as it announces India’s first-ever International Humanoid Summit, scheduled from December 22 to 24, 2025. Presented by Marsh McLennan and powered by IDFC First Bank, the event will feature a live showcase of next-generation humanoid robots from Austria, China, Hong Kong and India — a first in the country.

The three-day summit will bring together global robotics leaders, deep-tech innovators and emerging humanoid technologies on a single platform. Visitors will witness live demonstrations by advanced humanoids, along with expert-led panel discussions focusing on the future of robotics in defence, healthcare, disaster response, education and industrial automation.

“The future is not approaching — it is standing on stage now,” the organisers stated, highlighting the technological leap this event represents.

Humanoid Line-up
The summit will feature seven cutting-edge humanoids, including:
* Unitree G1 – Unitree Robotics, Austria (Modified by Montanuniversität Leoben): A highly agile humanoid designed for dynamic movement and real-world task execution.

• Booster T1 – Booster Robotics, China: Known for its precision engineering, responsiveness and autonomous operations.

• RIA – Machani Robotics, India: A humanoid with lifelike facial expressions and communication abilities for social interaction.

• Eagle 7.0 – Eagle Robot Labs, India: Aimed at boosting STEM education and hands-on robotics learning.

• Eagle 8.0 – Eagle Robot Labs, India: Advanced student-focused humanoid for interactive and conceptual robotics exploration.

• Spaceo Pro – Muks Robotics, India: Built for high-efficiency automation in manufacturing environments.

• Spaceo M1 – Muks Robotics, India: A heavy-duty model designed for repetitive industrial workflows.
