Technical Glitch Delays IndiGo’s Pune-Delhi Flight, Passengers Endure Extended Wait
Pune, 2nd November 2023: Passengers aboard IndiGo’s Pune-Delhi flight, 6E 2418, faced an unexpected delay in the early hours of Wednesday. The Airbus 320Neo encountered a technical snag during taxiing, leading to a two-hour wait on the aircraft. Despite efforts by engineers, the issue persisted, prompting the airline to allow passengers to deboard around 3:30 am.
The approximately 150 passengers then endured an additional three hours of wait at the airport until an alternative arrangement was made. They were finally flown to Delhi in a substitute aircraft at 7:30 am.
An airline spokesperson attributed the delay to a technical problem and assured that an alternative aircraft was provided for the affected passengers.
