TED Ed Students Talk in Pune Showcases Global Youth

Pune, 8th August 2025: A TED Ed students talk event was recently held in Pune. The event, which was all about creativity, confidence and collective participation, received a great response from the youth. Organized by Virendra Nirmalkar and Pooja Talesara Bhandari, the event provided a global platform for students to express their ideas, which showcased leadership, innovation and sensitivity. 32 students presented their thoughts on various topics in 3-7 minutes. 17 students from Victorious Kids Educare, Kharadi, as well as students from Singapore, America and Dubai participated virtually in this session.

The topics included many intimate topics such as mental health, sustainability, artificial intelligence, music therapy, friendship, resilience and digital addiction. The students went beyond information and presented introspective thinking and creative approaches. Aarav Baloda delivered a speech on Behind Every Word is a World, Arju Ramawat on Off Script, Abhijeet Tavari on Is Your Screen Stealing Your Life? Agastya Dubey on Are We Hippocrates? Amaya Gavale on Books- The Brain’s Best Friend, Apurvika Kumar on The Invisible Price Tag of Artificial Intelligence. Students expressed their views with great confidence on various topics. The students’ impressive speeches along with various cultural performances won the hearts of the audience.

Ira Ghosh, Vishal Shewale guided the students and the audience. Sarada Ghosh, Renish Mathew, Amit Godse, Bijoy Palissery, Dr. Anindita Chaudhary, Navya Somanna etc. were present at the event. The program was coordinated by Shweta Munegowda, Vasundhara Singh, Arin Junagade, Aditi Navale, Janhvi Bardale, Nehansh Kakonia, Aisha Lobo, Aakriti Nirmalkar.
