Thergaon: Magnesium Powder Blast At Chemical Factory, No Casualty Reported

Pune, 24 April 2021: A high-intensity blast occurred at a chemical factory in Thergaon which sent shockwaves in the area. A cement wall was broken due to the blast.

PCMC chief Fire Officer Kiran Gawde said that magnesium powder caused the blast. The incident took place at a small chemical factory located near Pudumjee paper mills. Nobody is injured in the incident.

Four fire tenders from Rahatani, Pradhikaran and Pimpri fire stations have been rushed to the spot.
