Three Members Of Same Family Dead In Accident On Pune-Nashik Highway Near Manchar
Manchar, 1st December 2023: Three members of the same family died and five others seriously injured in an accident near Manchar on the Pune-Nashik highway.
The fatal collision occurred in the early hours of the morning when a jeep, travelling from Nashik towards Bhosari, collided with a truck. The impact of the collision was so severe that the front part of the jeep was crushed, marking the severity of the accident.
Reports indicate that the thick fog on the road may have played a significant role in the tragedy, as the truck in front was reportedly not visible to the jeep driver. The lack of visibility due to the weather conditions led to the unfortunate collision.
Three members of the same family travelling in the jeep lost their lives in the accident. The deceased have not been identified yet. Additionally, five individuals sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital. Some of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
Local authorities and emergency services responded swiftly to the scene, conducting rescue operations and providing immediate medical assistance to the injured.
