Three Persons From Pune Killed In Road Accident Near Ratlam In Madhya Pradesh

Pune/Ratlam, 13 July 2021: Three youths from Pune died on the spot when a container, a pickup, and a tractor collided near Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh at around noon yesterday (Monday).

Four people in the pickup were injured in the accident. One of the injured is in critical condition and is undergoing treatment at the government hospital in Ratlam.

Navnath Mohan Salunkhe (38), a social worker from Kadamwakvasti (Haveli taluka) along with Umar Sayyed and Ali Sayyed, both residents of Pune, died on the spot.

Rahul Ghadge, Akash Salunkhe (both residents of Kadamwakvasti), Gulfam Ansari, and Nazir Qureshi (full name and address not known) were injured in the accident. Of the four, Gulfam Ansari is in critical condition and is undergoing treatment at the government hospital in Ratlam.

Navnath Salunkhe, Rahul Ghadge, Akash Salunkhe, and some of his friends from Pune had been buying goats from Madhya Pradesh for the last few years and selling them in Pune and surrounding areas.
Former district president of BJP Chittaranjan Gaikwad said that the bodies of Navnath Salukhe, Umar Sayyed, and Ali Sayyed will be sent to Pune soon. Nazir Qureshi, Rahul Ghadge and Akash Salukhe are being shifted to Pune for further treatment. Gulfam Ansari, however, is in critical condition and will be treated at a hospital in Ratlam.
