Three-Year-Old Girl Lost in Pune Railway Station Crowd, Rescued by RPF Personnel

Pune, 3 April 2025: In a tragic incident, a three-year-old girl, Gyanvi, got separated from her parents at the Pune railway station. Fortunately, Santosh Jaibhaye, an RPF personnel on duty, noticed her and took immediate action. Without wasting any time, he made great efforts to find her parents and successfully reunited them.
This incident occurred on Platform 1, where passengers gathered after realizing a young girl was lost. On his routine patrol, RP personnel Jaibhaye noticed her distressed and crying face. Understanding the urgency, he picked her up and began searching all six platforms of Pune railway station for her parents.
After 30 minutes of intense searching, he finally located Gyanvi’s parents, who were in tears of relief upon seeing their daughter safe. Thanks to Jaibhaye’s prompt action and awareness, the child was returned to her family without any delay.
The Pune Railway Station is always bustling with passengers, and with the upcoming summer vacations, the number of travelers has increased significantly. Many families are rushing to catch trains to their hometowns, leading to massive crowds. Such chaotic situations often lead to unfortunate incidents where people, especially children, go missing.
