CBSE Announced Special Examination Schedule For Students Who Missed Exams 2025 for Sports; Exam to Commence From April 7

New Delhi, 3 April 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a special examination schedule for students who were unable to appear for their Class 10 and 12 board exams due to participation in national and international sports events.

The regular CBSE Class 10 board exams took place from February 15 to March 18, while Class 12 exams commenced on February 15 and will conclude on April 4, 2025. Following the completion of these exams, CBSE will conduct the special exams before beginning the evaluation process. This year, more than 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools across India and abroad appeared for CBSE board exams.

Special Exam Schedule-
According to an official notification released on April 2, the exams for Class 10 will be held from April 7 to April 11, 2025, while Class 12 students will have their exams on April 11, 2025.

CBSE Class 10 Special Board Exam Dates:

April 7: English Language and Literature, Hindi Course A, French

April 8: Science

April 9: Social Science, Multi-Skill Foundation Course

April 11: Hindi Course B, Sanskrit

CBSE Class 12 Special Board Exam Dates:

April 11: English Core, Hindi Elective, Hindi Core, Chemistry, Physical Education,

Exam Details –
The special exams will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the same examination centres that were originally allotted to the students. CBSE has directed schools to inform eligible students about the revised dates and ensure that they download fresh admit cards before appearing for the exams.
