Traffic Movement On One Lane Near Kamshet Tunnel On Pune-Mumbai Expressway Remains Closed
Pune 28th July 2023: A landslide incident reported near Kamshet Tunnel on Thursday had impacted the traffic movement on Pune-Mumbai Expressway towards Mumbai. Though the officials have cleared the debris from road and the vehicular movement was normalised at around 2 am on Friday, one lane near Kamshet Tunnel was kept closed as a precautionary measure.
“The debris has been completely cleared by 2 am but as some soil is falling at the spot, the IRB team will come to inspect it. Therefore, one lane has been closed and the remaining two lanes have been opened for traffic” said Highway Police.
It may be noted that a landslide incident was reported at around 8 pm on Thursday here and the traffic movement was affected for over five hours.
