Traffic Towards Pune Disrupted As Truck Carrying Scrap Overturns On Highway Near Kamshet Pathargaon Ramp
Kamshet, 5th July 2023: A truck transporting scrap overturned today on the Kamshet Pathargaon ramp, resulting in a complete disruption of traffic heading towards Pune. The incident occurred around 4 pm, causing a long queue of vehicles along the affected road.
The unfortunate incident happened when a local truck carrying scrap was passing through this route. Unexpectedly, the truck’s tyres burst, leading the driver to lose control of the vehicle. Consequently, the truck overturned, scattering waste and scrap material across the road.
Local authorities promptly reached the spot and tried to evacuate the road. However, no information has been received thus far regarding whether there has been any injury to the truck driver.
The aftermath of the overturned truck has caused significant traffic disruptions. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to clear the road of the scattered waste and restore the traffic.
