Pune, 22nd June 2023: Commuters on the Pune-Miraj railway line between Nandre and Sangli stations may face inconvenience as railway track doubling work is set to take place.

Due to the technical activities involved, the following train services have been affected: train number 11425/11426 Pune-Kolhapur-Pune Express and 11029/11030 Mumbai-Kolhapur-Mumbai Koyna Express have been canceled on Thursday, June 22.

In addition, on June 21, train number 11040 Gondia-Kolhapur Maharashtra Express departing from Gondia, 12630 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Yesvantpur Express departing from Hazrat Nizamuddin, and 16508 Bengaluru-Jodhpur Express departing from Bengaluru will be diverted.

These trains will take an alternative route via Daund-Kurduvadi-Miraj and Miraj-Kurduvadi-Daund, respectively. As a result, these trains will not pass through the stations situated along the Pune-Miraj railway line.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and check with the railway authorities for any further updates or alternative arrangements. The railway track doubling work is essential for enhancing the efficiency and capacity of the railway network, and the inconveniences caused are temporary in nature.
