Triple crown for Neil Mulye at the Late Pappu Haldankar Memorial Pune District Table Tennis Championship 2023

Pune, 16 November 2023: Neil Mulye of Pune won a memorable triple crown winning the Mens Singles , Doubles and the Under 17 events at the Late Pappu Haldankar Memorial Pune District Table Tennis Championship 2023 under the auspices of Pune District Table Tennis Association which concluded at the Deccan Gymkhana’s Table Tennis Hall

In the Mens Final Round fifth seeded Neil Mulye came back from 0-2 games deficit to get past Shounak Shinde ]11/6,4/11,12/14,11/6,11/4,15/13 to win the title , In the Mens doubles Final he combined with his father and coach Upendra Mulye to register a 8/11,11/7,15/13,11/1 win over Shounak Shinde and Shriyash Bhosale . In the Mix Under 17: Final Round: Neil Mulye registered a 10/12,11/5,11/3,12/10 win over Shouren Soman to claim the third title of the event

The prizes were given away at the hands of Mr Rajeev Bodas, President of PDTTA, Mrs Smita Bodas, Vice President of PDTTA, Mr Ajit Galwankar President Ratanagiri District &Mr Deepak Haldankar tournament organizing Director, Mr Dipesh Abhyankar, Mr Avinash Joshi, and Mr.Ashwin Haldankar were on the occasion.
